Privacy policy

This policy explains what information TorqueLoads ("TorqueLoads", "we", "us") collects through torqueloads.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers the website and the forms on it. It does not cover the separate dispatch service agreement, which has its own terms.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you apply for dispatch, request a factoring quote or send a contact message, we collect what you type into the form. Depending on the form, that can include your name, phone number, email address, MC or DOT number, equipment type, cargo length, number of trucks, authority age, home base, lanes, your next planned service date, monthly invoice volume, your current factoring company and any notes you add.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and our hosting and security providers receive technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you and the time of your visit. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are used. If you arrive through a campaign link, the campaign details in the link (UTM parameters) may be sent with a form you submit, so we know which pages lead to applications.

Information that stays in your browser. Several features store settings only on your device, in your browser's local storage: the My truck profile (equipment, length, trucks, authority age, miles per year), tool inputs, checklist progress, and your theme and units preferences. This information is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

How we use information

We use the information you submit to contact you about the dispatch or factoring service you asked about, to work out which fee tier applies to your truck, to answer your message, and to keep a record of our conversation. If you become a dispatch customer, we use your details to find and negotiate loads for you to approve, and to work with brokers on those loads.

We use technical and analytics information to keep the site secure, to stop spam and abuse, to fix problems and to improve our pages, guides and tools.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the information you give us to make automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you.

Who we share it with

Factoring partner. If you request a factoring quote, we share your request with our factoring partner, RTS Financial, so it can contact you about a quote. RTS Financial handles your information under its own privacy policy. We do not share dispatch applications with RTS Financial unless you ask us to.

Service providers. We use providers to run the site and handle messages, including our hosting and security providers, our email provider (Resend) to deliver form notifications and confirmations, a bot protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) on our forms, and our analytics provider. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.

Brokers and shippers. When you are a dispatch customer, we share the carrier details brokers need, such as your company name, MC number, insurance and contact information, to set you up and to negotiate loads for your approval.

Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our customers, ourselves or others.

Partner links. Some pages link to partners such as Vertical Identity and TruckClub. When you follow those links, the partner's site and privacy policy apply. See our disclosure for how those relationships work.

Cookies and local storage

We keep cookies to a minimum. Our security and bot protection providers may set cookies needed to protect the site and the forms. Our analytics are configured to avoid tracking you across other websites.

Local storage keeps your site preferences, My truck profile, tool inputs and checklist progress on your device. You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Some features, such as remembered tool inputs, will then reset each visit.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions and related messages for as long as we need them to respond, to provide the service you asked for, and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymize them. If you become a customer, we keep records for the length of the relationship and for the period required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Server and security logs are kept for a limited time.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing you at any time; just tell us when we contact you, or reach us through our contact page. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require.

When you submit a form, you agree to be contacted about your request by phone, text or email, as the consent box on the form explains. That consent is not a condition of using our service, and you can withdraw it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls and bot protection on forms. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information, such as bank details or Social Security numbers, through our forms.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will note it on this page.

Questions about this policy or your information can go to our contact page. Our terms of use explain the rules for using the site.
